THE TRUE LEADERS OF OUR TIME

When we look around Africa

We see so many dedicated, committed and hardworking leaders of all spheres of life

Many have come and gone- that is true

Many leaders of African origin have rendered their selfless services to its dear continent

Many leaders like Marcus Gharvey, Kwame Nkrumah, Philip Quaque, Kojo Botsio, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu,Yaa Asantewaah,Opoku Opoku Ware II, Kofi Annan and K.A.Busia just to mention but a few have all contributed in the making and remaking of Africa

Some are dead and gone to the ancestral world

But others are still alive and contributing to the rebuilding of Africa

Africa where the world started is now at the bottom of the world. Why?

Where are the current leaders of Africa?

Who are the true leaders of Africa?

Where are the spirits of our leaders who fought for the total liberation of Africa?

And who are the so called true leaders of our time?

A true leader of our time and for Africa is the one, who does not talk about wars, chaos, ethnicity and tribalism

A true leader of our time is the one who does not shed and share blood of innocent people

A true leader of our time is the one who does not take the nation’s money into his own foreign account

A true leader is the one who does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour or sex

But a true leader of our time and for Africa is the one who serves his nation and people with mildness, light and peace

The one who has his country at heart

The one who cares for the poor and vulnerable in society

The one who cares for people who are victims of situations

A true leader is the one who is fast, fair and firm

A true leader is the one who serves his people and not the people serving him

A true leader is the one who sets good example for people to follow and accepts constructive criticisms with much concern

And above all, a true leader is the one who has the fear of GOD/ALLAH in him/her

If one man or woman can stand boldly and say I have all these qualities, then that person can be called the true leader of our time.

EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR THE GOOD OF MAN(ARTICLE)

Most people begin to draw back to life when things seem to go wrong. They begin to curse their stars, fall prey to unscrupulous people and become victims of situations/circumstances. Some people even give up in life and even commit silly offences including death but I am here to announce to you that everything that happens is for the good of man and to share with you below is a story of a man who kept on firm no matter the situation that anything that happens to him is for his own good.

Long time ago, there lived a king and his linguist in a village called “mempa aba” literally meaning do not give up or keep on going. This king was very wicked to his subordinates and for that matter he was hated by most of his subordinates and he encountered a lot of problems. He always seeks advice from his linguist whenever he(the king) is in trouble. The linguistic was very humble, hardworking, and noble and as result of his humility he was referred to as the sage. The only advice he (linguistic) normally gives to the king is that anything that happens, happens for the good of man. This advice amuses the king angrily and makes him furious anytime he hears it.

One day, the king and his linguist went out for a walk. On their way, a snake bit the king so he asked his linguist what it meant, his interpretation or knowledge about the snake bite. The king being angry at that moment was not expecting the linguist to tell him the usual advice but to his uttermost surprise, he heard the same thing. This made the king to grow angry like never before so he decided to put the linguist behind bars. The linguist was not surprised or disturbed because he knows that anything that happens is for the good of man.

On another occasion, the king decided to go alone to a nearby forest to admire nature. When he got to the forest, unluckily for him, he was captured by some scary, short-human-like-animals who eat the flesh of only human beings. The king was kept in the custody of these scary and dangerous creatures for two days before he would be roasted on the third day which was a feast for these scary animals. When the news got to the linguist who was still behind bars, he still remained firm to his words that anything that happens is for the good of man. Special one, what do you think will happen to the king? Do you think he would be spared with his life? And do you think the sayings of the linguist will manifest at this dying and fearful period?  And do you want to know what happened to the king? Well special one, you may be going through difficult situations that seem to you that there is no hope but I want you to understand that God knows what is best and He does it for his children.

At last, the king’s life was spared. Wow! And do you know why he was spared? The scary, short, human-like-animals do not eat human beings with sore infections so he was spared to live again. At that moment, the king now realized that what his imprisoned linguist told him concerning the snake bite was true so he decided to free him. The king apologized to the linguist but the linguist told him that if he had not been put behind bars, he would have followed him(the king) to the forest and that he (linguist) who had no sore infection would have been eaten up by the scary and dangerous animals. So you see brethren, do not give up in life, never lost hope, don’t stop where you are and keep on keeping on because everything that happens, happens for the good of man. Thank you.   ASARE BREW JOHN ZACK(LORDZINCKY)BBS 1 L. 0246532801.WISCONSIN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY,ACCRA,GHANA.

CRY NO MORE AFRICAN CHILD

Cry no more African child

Cry no more oh African child

Once I walked through the streets

I heard the sound of a cry of an innocent African child

Crying on top of his voice

My heart started beating

So I said to myself

Why must the African child cry?

Why must the African child suffer?

When is child labour and trafficking going to be sopped?

Why must the innocent child be carrying heavy loads instead of going to school?

Why must we the African children be tortured?

Where are the spirits of our leaders who fought for the total liberation of Africa?

If the African child is tortured, maltreated, amputated and annihilated, then who will rule Africa some generations to come when all our leader have died and gone to the ancestral world?

Treat us the African children with love, compassion, peace and harmony

Save us! Oh save us! For we have a bright future

The future belong to us and it must not be taken away from us

How do you feel when you hear the cry of a poor, innocent, homeless but not hopeless African child?

You become sad,

Cry no more oh African child

For we have a future which belong to us

And that future is the continent Africa

Cry no more! Oh cry no more African child

For a day will come that all of us shall rise with brighter smiles on our faces

And with songs of joy saying “Africa oh! Mother Africa belong to us  and it must not be taken away from us

For the child of Africa is like the child of Europe

The child of Europe is like the child of Australia

The child of Australia is like the child of North America

The child of North America is like the child of Asia

The child of Asia is like the child of South America

Why then must we the African children be treated unfairly?

Cry no more! Oh cry no more African child

For the future of Africa is very bright and great

Cry no more African child.

MEN’S DEEDS

Deeds of men are written boldly somewhere

That they will account for

But who knows where the deeds of men are written

Some say they are written on woods

Others say they are written on the ground

Whilst others say they are written on stones

But if one of you will keep quiet

And listen to the sage

All of you may know where the deeds of men are written

Men’s deeds are written on a platter

The good ones are written on water

The bad ones are written on brass

When I am right

No one remembers

But when I am wrong, no one forgets

Do you now know where the deeds of men are written?

IS AFRICAN POLITICS REALLY A “DIRTY GAME”? (AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE POOR LEADERSHIP SKILLS; CAUSE OF AFRICA’S UNDERDEVELOPMENT AND THE WAY FORWARD BY:ASARE BREW J.ZACK a.ka. lordzincky)

African governments claim to be practice democracy but to me I think they are practicing “confusioncracy” and “demoncracy”. I always weep, shed tears and cry when I hear of African politics and democracy. This article will focus much on Ghanaian politics since I have lived most of my life as a young patriotic citizen in Ghana. What is politics and leadership all about? Is it about fame, misuse of poor tax payers money for the benefit of the few, violating against the laws of the land and the rule of law? Is politics and leadership about infringing upon the rights of the poor and the underprivileged in society? Or is it about insulting fellow opponents with different political affiliations and ideologies or beliefs?

My understanding of democracy, politics and leadership is far far different from what most political leaders practice. Democracy is rule of peace and love of the people and by the people, cooperation and understanding as well as accepting constructive criticisms from opponents with much care and concern. Democracy is about unity, peace, love, understanding and development but because of selfish gains of some unpatriotic, undeserving and ungodly African political leaders, our continent is filled with poverty, death, famine and hunger, hatred, injustices, violation of human rights, underdevelopment, HIV/AIDS, and other diseases. Democracy allows for free expression of one’s heart desires constructively without any fear of intimidation from anybody. Ghanaian (Africa) politics is referred to as a “dirty game” as a result of inability of some of our grown up educated elites to desist from politics of insult, chaos, evil acts and destroying the African continent.

Politics and leadership on the other hand, goes together. That is where there is politics, there is leadership BUT DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT POLITICS AND LEADERSHIP IS ALL ABOUT? Some of our political leaders know what it is but out greed and selfishness, they have thrown it away and they are now practicing “confusioncracy and demoncracy” whereby anarchy, confusion, evil acts and insults are now the order of the day. Some of our political leaders on the other hand, do not know what politics and leadership is all about and they have refused to ask of it. Now let us look at what politics and leadership is all about. Politics as well as leadership is about the well being of the poor homeless but not hopeless people who have no food to eat, no water to drink, no place to sleep, no hospital to attend when sick and no school to attend. This practice is not practical and functional in Ghana or Africa and for that matter some experts refer to the continent’s political terrain as a “dirty gameand the continent as the Dark Continent. Ghanaian politicians who are suppose to teach we the young ones the right path to life are now into politics of deformation of personalities, insults, confusion, propaganda, vain and cheap talk. What at all are they trying to teach we the young generation? The beauty of democracy is where everyone is able to voice out his/her feelings in a well defined and polite manner since “manners as ADISADEL COLLEGE will teach you maketh manbut the opposite is seen nowadays amongst Ghanaian (African) politicians. The beauty of democracy is violated, it is abused and it is flouted at.

Dear decent citizen and reader, underlying all factors pertaining to Africa’s underdevelopment, POOR LEADERSHIP, POOR LEADERSHIP AND POOR LEADERSHIP CUBE (P.L.4) mostly on the part of our political leaders is the greatest cause. At 51, Ghana known previously as the Gold Coast for its rich natural resources still imports toothpick, rice and other commodities which could be produced if proper measures were put in place by our leaders. Sometimes I wonder why most of our politicians will mount on a campaign plat form and claim to have done this and that, claim to be achievers as if they have invested their personal money into the economy. Dirty political game is now the major practice of most African politicians. Some politicians fight for political powers through dubious, illegal/unlawful means and ungodly ways as well. Oh what a continent the innocent lives in! Our leaders have forgotten about their past because of politics of insults and greed. They have forgotten their roots and where they come from. They have forgotten the patriotism, love, hard work, enthusiasm, courage, sacrifice and sincerity by which leaders like Kojo Botsio,Gbedemah, Kwame Nkrumah, Haille Sellasie, W.E.B.Dubois, Marcus Gharvey, Kahunda, Boutrous Boutrous Ghali, Nelson Mandela and the rest laboured to put this continent down and how it is now being mishandled. I become sad whenever I realize in my brain, in my mind and in my heart how Ghana (Africa) which started before Malaysia, Singapore and the likes is lagging.

Sacrifice, dedication, hard work and courage as well as change is what most African governments are lacking and until this is done, the continent may remain what it is and the erroneous impression and perception people have for the continent may remain as well. We have all the resources/materials that make life comfortable but we still receive grants and loans from countries that we are suppose to assist if we should look at the quantity of the availability of natural resources. We even go to the extent of begging those who beg others and who are suppose to beg us. Oh what a shameful tragedy!  Why African leaders? Why so much hatred and confusion on the continent?

The crisis of Africa’s underdevelopment is purely poor leadership and I put it to anyone for a challenge. As a radical, Pan-Africanist, preacher of truth and love, volunteer of peace and development, child/human right activist and a patriotic decent young growing African son who has the African continent at heart, in my humble opinion (I.M.H.O), I suggest that African governments must have aDEVELOPMENTAL PLAN” whereby any government that comes to power will follow or will continue from where the previous government stopped so that much unnecessary cost may not reoccur. Another factor that must be critically accessed and taken into consideration is total CHANGE AND REASONING in the hearts of every leader. This factor is very important and critical and when it is practiced, it can cause a great and positive stride in the development of Africa. Change of mind and reasoning does not take titles and qualifications before it takes place. Change of mind and reasoning occurs when we all accept the fact that we have failed the poor innocent homeless and illiterate Ghanaian and African child on the street who has no food to eat, no portable water to drink, no place to sleep and no cloth to wear. This helps us to put ourselves into the situations of the African underdevelopment with much care and concern. Someone may ask who is a leader. A leader to me is not what I call the dictionary definition. To me, a leader is someone who wants a change in society, a change that can make those who reside in deprived and devastated communities who have been denied of certain basic social amenities to smile, a change that can put Ghana(Africa) forward and a change that will bring peace, unity and harmony. In unity lies our strength, our victory, our joy, our development and our story.

Politics of insult, segregation, discrimination, ethnocentrism, selfishness and greediness will do Ghana(Africa) no good. African leaders are selling Africa for their own joy whilst the majority of the people are left to suffer to die painfully. The young and old generations have been failed totally by our political leaders and they keep on failing us but thanks be to GOD that the new breed of leadership for which I will play a major and vibrant role will never disappoint and fail MAMA AFRICA. MAMA AFRICA is disappointed. Mama Africa is sad because of fake politicians but we the young generation will not fail her (MAMA AFRICA). Politics and leadership in Africa should not be about wars, anarchy, chaos and insults. It should rather be about unity, development and the betterment of the African continent. Because of politics, the innocent dies painfully whilst the wicked lives. Africa and for that matter sub-Saharan Africa is now the centre of drug and child trafficking as if we do not have security agencies, laws and leaders in the sub-region. The poor innocent man is used as bait because of economic hardships and political instability for some fickle-minded and ungodly people to make their money. Whenever I switch on my radio set, I become sad because the sort of information I hear is very appalling. It is even rumored that some of our leaders are now into drug smuggling and what message that it carry to we the young ones.

The blame on Africa’s underdevelopment can never be put on only the political leaders because from the top hierarchy of leadership that is from the executive to the legislature, from the legislature to the judiciary to the security agencies, and from the business to the academic societies to the clergy and to those in the field of science and inventory to the ordinary citizen like myself, we have all failed the poor African child. Justice and law have failed its cause but we the young generation will not fail Africa. Most African law makers, implementers and interpreters receive bribe from people to pronounce sentence/judgment on the innocent poor people. There is also clear interference by the executive in most cases but one must bear in mind that the soul that sins shall die. As one of my role models once said, “injustice anywhere is a potent threat to justice everywhere” and that “the ultimate measure of a man is not in times of comfort but in times of difficulties”(Martin Luther King Jnr.), I put it to African governments a challenge to rise up and take action because they are going to be measured by their actions   in times of difficulties. African leaders must take bold but positive decisions that will bring a smile on the citizens of Africa.

Because of struggle for power for the impending Ghana 2008 elections, many lives have been lost painfully. Ministers of state leave their respective responsibilities to follow a particular political party’s presidential candidate instead of working for efficient growth of the economy. Ghana politics is now about cheap talk of insults and misuse of the poor tax payers’ money. Ghana (Africa) governments organize very handsome but expensive conferences at the expense of the hard-earned money of the poor tax payer and yet they do not practice what was discussed. They only take huge allowances, “oily and fat choked breakfast and lunch” and they forget about the practical work on the paper. In fact, if care is not taken the poor will continue to be poorer and the rich, richer. My fellow Ghanaians, as the December general elections draw near, I urge you with all humility as an African son to let peace be the victor before, during and after the elections. Let us become the agent of peace to all Ghanaians for before us, lies a vast eternity of land. Our decisions today, may determine the future of the young and the unborn generations. Let peace reign in our hearts otherwise generations to come will judge us by our works, our deeds, our achievements and our decisions.

Politics as a “dirty game in Ghana (Africa) is an erroneous perception and an act of state in the minds of people if only AFRICAN LEADERS WILL BE UP AND DOING.

Political leaders, religious leaders, business executives, academic leaders and leaders in the science and technology industry, an Imam who was involved in an HIV/AIDS campaign in Uganda once said “we all suffer the same”. As my message ends, these are my last words to every leader who want to be accorded with the right fame and title as the true leaders and achievers of our time:  GO IN SEARCH OF YOUR PEOPLE, LOVE THEM, BEGIN/START WITH THEM, LET THEM FEEL YOUR PRESENCE, MINGLE WITH THEM AND SHOW MUCH CONCERN. FOR THE BEST OF THE BEST LEADERS WHEN THEIR TASK IS DONE AND WORK ACCOMPLISHED, THE PEOPLE ALL REMARK “WE HAVE DONE IT OURSELVES” THANK YOU. ANY FORM OF COMMENT IS ALLOWED.

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT HIV AND AIDS

I want to share with you some useful but ignored information about the deadly HIV/AIDS and the roles our religious leaders can play in the fight against this menace or pandemic:

HIV/AIDS has orphaned fifteen million children in countries around the world. There will be 30,000,000(thirty million) orphans due to HIV/AIDS by 2010 if care is not taken and measures put in place.

KEY POINTS ABOUT THE PANDEMIC:

HIV/AIDS has devastated many families and communities

HIV/AIDS proportionately affect women and girls

Sub- Saharan Africa is the center of HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS is often misunderstood and misrepresented

People who live in HIV/AIDS affected areas are not helpless

A comprehensive strategy to tackle the global spread of HIV/AIDS involves three key interventions (a) PREVENTION   (b) CARE (c) ADVOCACY

HIV/AIDS PREVENTION STRATEGIES:

A – ABSTAIN from sex if you are not married

B – Be FAITHFUL to your partner

C – CONSTANT CORRECT use of condom

D – DESIST from sharing contaminated items or blood

HIV/AIDS AND CHILDREN, A GENERATION TO SAVE

Parents are sick and dying and cannot work for their children. Children must leave school and care for their family needs and orphans must fend for themselves. Grand parents often care for a dozen of orphaned children. HIV/AIDS has led so many children ending up in the streets and have become vulnerable. HIV positive mothers unknowingly pass the virus to their unborn or breast feeding kids. Our leaders especially religious leaders have a part to play in the fight against the so-called deadly disease. Why am I saying this? I am saying this because; the Churches and the Mosques are grounded in almost every society which offers them the real opportunity to eradicate this disease. Not all, they can also perform the following:

(a)   love and care/support for people living with HIV/AIDS (P.L.W.H.A.S)

(b)  Good rapport, sound teachings and assistance, respecting the views of the young ones among other things, are some of the things religious leaders can do to help combat HIV/AIDS

(c)   They can also organize seminars, workshops and forums to educate people on the pandemic.

(d)  Formation of HIV/AIDS awareness clubs and associations as well as Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) centers can also help to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS

(e)   Counseling both inside and outside Church premises

(f)    Leadership by example, encourage the young ones, give financial support to the poor and needy.

(g)   Regular visitation, you must also be fair, fast and firm.

(h)   You must also be neutral, cool and not emotional, probe for what the young ones know, be positive and do not always blame.

(i)     Above all things, religious leaders must be friendly and understanding.

WHY RELIGIOUS LEADERS?

Religious leaders because, their Churches/Mosques have strength, have credibility and they are grounded in communities. This offers them the REAL opportunity to make a REAL difference in combating HIV/AIDS. To respond to this challenge, the churches/mosques must be transformed in the face of the HIV/AIDS crisis in order that they may become a force for transformation brining healing to the people, hope, love and accompaniment to all affected by HIV/AIDS”. They are also recognized as the spiritual fathers of the world and for that matter they can easily help in combating the disease. Brethren, we all suffer the same. An Imam in Uganda who was involved in HIV/AIDS crusade once said “we all suffer the same”.

Special one, this is my message to you all: “Go in search of your people, love them, mingle with them, and let them feel your presence, show compassion, start from where they stopped, let them feel that you are part of them and show much care. For the best of the best leaders when their task is accomplished and work done, the people all remark we have done it ourselves”. MAY YOU BECOME THE CHANGE THAT AFRICA NEEDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AFRICA IS IN THE HANDS OF YOU AND I. THANK YOU.

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE UP

It is again dedicated to all African children and mothers especially the street children, those struck with poverty, HIV/AIDS, children whose rights have been denied, who have no food to eat, no water to drink, no cloth to wear and hospital to attend when sick, no school to attend and no place to sleep. It is also dedicated to my late father, my mum, every zealous and patriotic youth, all SANTACLAUSIANS, WISCONSIN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY and all leaders who have the African child at heart.

  1. GOD CANNOT LIE: It is impossible for God to lie because God is not a man that He should lie neither a son of man that he should repent. Jesus Christ is the answer to every problem and since he has overcome death, there is no need for us to give up. Many people are going through tough times and challenges that seem to them that the end has come but I want to assure someone reading this article that you should not give up because it is impossible for the Lord Almighty to lie. In fact whatever that He has said about you shall surely come to pass. Tough times and challenges are meant to come but as we put our faith on a solid rock, I tell you thousand shall fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand side but they shall never come near us. The devil will try to use all sort of means and tactics to make you think and feel that whatever the Lord has said about you shall not come true and that you should give up but I want you to know and understand that the devil is a liar and that my God cannot lie. Just hold on to your faith. Focus on his word by faith. Don’t be moved by things around you, things you feel, hear or things you see. Just cast your mind unto the cross of Jesus Christ. The lord who never failed Moses, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will never fail you. If God was able to command manna to come down from heaven, then I am a brave, spirit-filled and heavenly sent African son to tell you that same God will never fail you. God knows what is best and He does it for His children. So in all things we should try not to give up. Things seen right now, are temporary things. They are just testing our faith. We may be faced with the hardest challenge but I want to tell you not to give up. I want you to hold on to your faith because the Bible declares that “the just shall live by faith”. And that the elders through faith were able to give sweet testimonies unto the Lord God. Special one, David said something in Psalm 16:8 that “I have always set the Lord before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved”. David did not say I sometimes set the Lord before me. He said always I have set the Lord before me which means that in all things we should set the Lord before us. He did not say because I am in difficulties I should forget about God and put something else before me. No. He always set the Lord before him. Whether in tough challenges or not, the Lord was always before him so special and beloved one, I want you to also emulate what David said. Do not give up your God for gold or anything else and I tell you, your reward shall be great. Do not give up dear reader for the pains and tribulations or difficulties you are going through are just temporal and that it is impossible for the highest God to lie. Just accept the fact that God cannot lie and I tell you, your faith is going to be strong. Hold unto your faith and never give up. Never be moved by what you see, feel or hear because He(the GOD) that is in you is greater than that of the world.
  2. THERE IS HOPE FOR THE FUTURE: Beloved, nobody knows the beginning of a great person except the Lord Almighty. I want you to know and understand that there is still hope for the future. Things may be rough right now or today but you must not give up because your tomorrow or future is smooth. The future is bright and that you are going to experience a unique and pleasant future. Do not give up brethren for the things in stock for you for the future are great and wonderful. God has prepared a very beautiful future for us provided we do not give up and hold on to our faith. Never be moved at all by what is around you now, just keep on going in the likeness of God because it is not over until it is over. Special and beloved one, although your beginning is small, your latter end shall be greatly magnified says the Lord. Your starting might be slippery but as you refuse to give up, your future and latter end shall be great. Our destiny for the future is great. Our destiny may be delayed by man but man can never ever change our destiny except God. It is only God who changes destiny. In short, all what I want to tell you is that your destiny may be delayed now by man but it can never be changed by man except God so do not give up. Never give up special one because you are specially and uniquely made in the likeness of God. Although your beginning is small, your latter end shall be greatly magnified.
  3. YOU SAVE THE DISAPPOINTED AND THE YOUNG GENERATIONS: The third reason why you should not give up is that, you save the disappointed, the young and the unborn generations. The elite old generation have failed the world and for that matter if you refuse to give up you save the disappointed, the young and the unborn generations. Most of our leaders have failed us and keep on failing us especially the innocent children who reside in remote and deprived communities where certain basic amenities that make life comfortable are absent. As people who want others to look at our life styles, we should not allow certain circumstances to bring us down. The generation to come will look up to you and me and any decision we take today may determine the future of the unborn generations. We must save the disappointed generation, the unborn generation and our generation as well. You become an agent of hope to the hopeless, agent of peace to the troubled heart and an agent of joy to the unhappy soul if you refuse to give up. The new breed of leadership is you and I and so we should not give up no matter what may come our way so that we become role models to the societies in which we live in. we live in a continent where resources are enjoyed by the elite group. We live in a continent where poor leadership is the order of the day and the main cause of underdevelopment and in order to save the suffering masses, we must not give up. Do not give up for the joy of the Lord is our strength and I tell you through that we may be able to save the “Dying Africa” otherwise generations to come will judge us by our deeds, our works and our achievements.
  4. YOU GET THE RIGHT TITLE “THE TRUE LEADER AND ACHIEVER OF OUR TIME: If you do not give up even in times of difficulties, you are able to portray and leave a mark that goes on to history for generations to come to build upon it. That is people are enticed to learn about achievers as history is made by those who dare the impossibility. You shall be recognized with greater accord by history and posterity with the right fame and title “the true leader and achiever”. As I always say, the greatest achievers are not the politicians, the economists, the lawyers/judges, the professors, the doctors, engineers or the business executives likewise the clergymen. But the greatest achievers are those who do not give in every situation and see to it that the poor innocent homeless but not hopeless African child on the street who has no food to it is fed, well protected, loved, educated and sheltered. Again, the greatest achievers are those who have no titles recognized by the world today but despite that have been able to put a smile on the faces of those whose rights have been denied illegally. Special one, do not give up for a day is that you shall rise with Godly fame and say to your self “I have fought a good fight and I have every cause to celebrate for the joy of the Lord is my strength”. As one of my mentors and role models said, “The ultimate measure of a man is when he stands in times of difficulties and not in times of comforts” (MARTIN LUTHER KING JNR.), if you refuse to giver up even in time of difficulties, you can be measured best. Do not give up my fellow being for a time is coming that our deeds are going to be read to our hearing and those who refused to give up will boldly rise with bright smiles and say “yes, indeed the latter end is great”. As students and young citizens who are in the Lord, I entreat you to be on your feet. Throw away all lackadaisical attitudes. Fight for a good cause. Fight for mama AFRIKA. Do not follow bad groups and ideologies. The development of AFRIKA is in our hands. Never ever give up no matter what you are going through. Let us not put into shame the works of some our great and selfless leaders. As my High School ode taught me “others have laboured, and we share their glory. Ours is to do exploits and add to their gains and that those who will come after will take up the story”, let us build on what has already being built. Let us add what we can. We should not give up. If others have been able to make it somewhere, then we in AFRIKA must also make it. It is a fact that our leaders have not laid down good foundations for us but that should not shut our vision, our dreams and our aspirations. Never give up! Never give up!
  5.  YOU WILL HAVE A SWEET TESTIMONY TO GIVE UNTO THE LORD: YOU ARE able to store a very sweet and powerful testimony if you refuse to give up. Your testimonies you will give, will encourage others to strive hard in life. You are able to convince people to know and understand that challenges and tough challenges are meant to come but victory lies in the hands of the Lord almighty and that those who wait patiently upon the Lord shall renew their strength and give a sweet but powerful testimony not unto man but unto the most highest GOD who reigns forever. Do not give up fellow youth of AFRIKA. For I know, understand and have experienced hardships and tough challenges before even as a young patriotic, radical, law-abiding and pan-Africanist. I know how challenging certain situations are but I have come to assure you that keep up the spirit and the faith because you will have a better testimony to give not unto man but to GOD. Never at all give up for tough challenges help to build our faith, our abilities and capabilities and as well make us strong in the Lord. The world is waiting for you. What have you done as a youth to help in the development of your country, your continent and the world at large? The decision you take today can determine your tomorrow. Do not give up.

JOHN ZACK

N1000392473_6889_medium Many people in Ghana have been neglected as a result of poverty and for that matter they have no access to healthcare. Most Ghanaians die of preventable illnesses and diseases but our leaders seem not to care.As a pan-afrikanist and a patriotic youth, i believe the only way we can solve the problem of getting aceess to health care in Ghana is through national health insurance scheme which must be done free of cahrge to the underprivileged in society.ASARE BREW JOHN ZACK,WISCONSIN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY,NORTH-LEGON,ACCRA,GHANA. +233246532801

LET US UNITE FOR AFRIKA THAT BEGINS WITH YOU AND I

"YOU MAY EXCEL IN YOUR FIELD OR DEPARTMENT OF WORK BUT YOU BECOME A FAILURE IF YOUR IMPACT IS NOT POSITIVELY SEEN IN THE LIVES OF THE POOR INNOCENT HOMELESS BUT NOT HOPELESS PEOPLE IN DEPRIVED AND DEVASTATED AREAS".
The only way you can be listed among the greatest achievers of the world is when you are able to put a smile on the faces of those perishing in society.Leadership as well as politics is not about fame, misuse of poor tax payers money, riding in luxurious cars, power or greatness. It is about the well being of the poor innocent homeless but not hopeless people who have no food to eat,no water to drink,no hospital to go when sick/ill,no cloth to wear,no place to sleep and no school to attend. In short.all what i am trying to say is that the greatest achiever is not the president, prime minister, minister of state, parliamentarian,a professor, doctor,an engineer, lawyer,a servant of GOD,a teknocrat or whatever you want to be in life but the greatest achievers are those considered as hopeless and good for nothing and are not in any position to help but despite all the difficulties, challenges and out of their hopelesness have been able to put a positive smile on the faces of the underprivileged in society.Leaders like Martin Luther King Jnr.,Kwame Nkrumah,W.E.Dubois,Marcus Garvey,Nelson Mandela,Kojo Botsio,Dr.Sir Sam Esson Jonah,Bill Gate,Newton,CarlBenz,John Wesley,Hon.Ken Ohene Agyapon,Rev.Steve Mensah,Bishop Charles Agyin Asare,Asuma Bandah,,Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo,J.A.Kufuor,J.E.Atta Mills,Pastor Mensah Otabil and many more are the sort of leaders we can say ayeeko to for their sacrifice to mother GHANA and AFRICA.
The only problem we all face from the top hierachy of leaders to the ordinary citizen like myself is change of mind and reasoning and until this is done,we shall still remain where we are.We organize very handsome conferences at the expense of the poor tax payers and yet the poor continues to be poorer simply because we are only intersted in the allowances after these conferences and not the practicallity of the agenda discussed at the conference. We do not have much time so we must act now in order to save the disappointed, the old,the young and the unborn generations otherwise the generations to come will automatically judge us by our deeds and works.Any African intersted in the rebuild of Africa is welcome.
